Turkey Stuffing Burger

I wanted to capture all the season's flavours in just one burger. I love entertaining and hosting my family around a traditional Turkey and all the side dishes, so I decided to re-create that meal in a burger. My turkey stuffing burger. Think the day after Thanksgiving, or perhaps you are hosting an informal Friendsgiving this year. Whatever the occasion, my Turkey stuffing burgers will be a hit.

Creating turkey stuffing burgers is just as great as preparing a full Thanksgiving meal because it captures all the comforting flavours of the holiday in a creative way. These burgers combine the savoury taste of seasoned turkey with the flavours of stuffing, making each bite reminiscent of Thanksgiving without the hours of prep.

Turkey Stuffing burgers

Recipe

1 package (1 lb) of ground turkey

1 egg

1/2 cup bread crumbs (I made my own using a cinnamon raisin bread)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon chopped parsley

1 tablespoon dried cranberries

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper.

Combine all the ingredients

1. In a large bowl add all the ingredients & mix well to combine.

2. Divide the ground beef into 4 patties, gently shape into a disk about 1 inch thick.

3. Warm the pan on medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil to the large skillet.

4. Place burger patties in the hot skillet, leaving a little space between each one.

5. Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side.

Enjoy with your favourite side dishes, I made roasted Brussels sprouts & beet salad.
